Hey, I'm George Parks

A computer scientist + public policy advocate

I’m a sophomore computer science + public policy student at Georgia Tech, working at the intersection of government and novel technologies.

I'm currently managing technology and media for a Georgia State House campaign, and I'm developing a fellowship to increase student involvement in local technology policy.

I'm also the team lead on a Georgia Tech SGA development project to improve the queueing experience for students at career fairs and other large events.

I previously worked as a SDE intern at GTRI, as well as a Top-Rated Freelancer on Upwork. I'm also a member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an avid hiker, and a lifelong tinkerer and builder.
